Production & Maintenance Worker

Supervises: No supervisory duties
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM with a one-hour unpaid lunch and two ten-minute paid breaks
Starting Salary: $17 per hour with scheduled raises tied to performance reviews

JOB SUMMARY

A Production & Maintenance Worker plays a vital role in the production, bottling, and labeling of beverage ingredients for the craft cocktail industry. This includes, but is not limited to, products such as bitters, botanical waters, brines, mixes, and cordial syrups. The top priority in this position is ensuring safety, while maintaining a strong focus on quality assurance. Additionally, a Production & Maintenance Worker is expected to work collaboratively with their team members to address a variety of work projects as part of their daily routine.

As part of their responsibilities, a Production & Maintenance Worker also plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of Company facilities at all times. This is an essential component of our operations and requires meticulous attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Production & Maintenance Worker will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including:

  • Working on a fast-paced production line, rotating machines and duties to meet production goals.
  • Acting as a Quality Control Ambassador by constantly monitoring for any issues with products and reporting them to management.
  • Setting up, utilizing, taking down, cleaning, and performing maintenance on a range of equipment, including hand or machine labelers, bottle filling machines, capping machines, banding machines, filters, hose connections, and pumps.
  • Performing various cleaning duties and facility maintenance tasks, including cleaning bathrooms and common areas, sweeping, mopping, and assisting with waste disposal.
  • Conducting inventory checks and assisting with ensuring proper inventory levels.
  • Printing product-specific barcodes.
  • Labeling and stamping bottles and cases of flat cartons by hand.
  • Reporting safety and sanitary concerns to management promptly.
  • Being aware of production requirements, including product specifications, bottle sizes, and cap and neck bands.
  • Assisting office staff with physical inventory counts.
  • Coordinating with the office to restock the retail store.
  • Ensuring safety at all times.

In addition to the essential functions listed above, the Production & Maintenance Worker may be asked to perform other duties as assigned or requested. Our team-oriented work environment requires everyone to be flexible and adaptable to meet changing demands and expectations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate for the Production & Maintenance Worker position should possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience working in warehouses or production facilities is preferred.
  • Forklift training is a plus, but not required.
